alright i'm a christian and i was talking to one of my friends about christ and he just started laying into me about of this political bullshit. nothing was questions about christ or my faith just political. finally just said you aren't asking anything about christ just political crap. even i hate it when people use christianity as a political tool. then he went on about the politicians. hell i finally just told ask about god or the bible or we're done. he asked about how god could be a merciful and vengeful god.
i just told a verse from the bible "he both a vengeful god and a merciful god to those that rebeled against him" he forgive those that rebel against him and turn back to him and destories the ones who don't.so my main question is did you just turn away from god because of politics. people say all christians hate gays thats like saying all black people are crackheads or latinos are fence jumpers and it just isn't true. athiest none christians even christians did you just disagree with a politiacan and thats what drove you away from god?
