Dennis Rodman isn’t doing well these days. The NBA Hall of Famer who made a name for himself by rebounding the basketball owes nearly $1 million in child support, however court documents say he doesn’t have money to pay and that Rodman is “extremely sick”.
While it doesn’t go into detail, it appears that Rodman’s illness being discussed is alcoholism. In fact, Peggy Williams, Rodman’s finance manager, says that Rodman’s alcoholism has taken a turn for the worse.
If Rodman doesn’t find a way to pay his back child support, he faces jail time. Considering that he’s not nearly as famous these days as he used to be, it’s doubtful that Rodman will have a million bucks rolling in any time soon.
However, Rodman’s ex-wife, Michelle Rodman, says that the Hall of Famer still makes plenty of money by hosting parties at nightclubs around the world.
All in all, it sounds like a sad situation.
