I'm don't think anyone did? I just need to make sure (it's for a project and that's one of the questions I need to answer).

the 300 people who gathered around to see the 7 conspirators hanging from the noose probably benefitted, if that sorta thing floats their boat.

I think i somewhat agree with the other answer that in some ways, the Constitution and States rights might have benefitted in a small and difficult to measure way, because lincoln was damn near on a course to making the office of the Presidency equivalent to a dictator's power.

Perhaps, the successive presidents were a little humbled after Lincoln's assassination, but this didn't last long. Soon enough, presidents fancied themselves as dictators once again. The main examples are Franklin Roosevelt ( in power twice as long as any other president) and now Obama, who has used executive orders 10 times more than any other president in the first 90 days, and will probably destroy the office of Presidency within a year's time.

Andrew Johnson became president. That's the only person who had a direct benefit from Lincoln's death.
