There were only five earthquakes 5.0 or over in the world today. That is well below average compared to, oh, all of the detailed history we have on quakes. And two of those were nothing but aftershocks in Chile. The biggest earthquake the world had today was just a 5.7 near Andreanof Island.

Does this mean the end times prophecies will need to be reinterpreted to mean that the world will end when plate tectonics stop and the entire world erodes to a peneplain at sea level?

Yeah totally! 5.7s aren't that bad- I've been through several 5.0+s. Nothing Biblical really, just a little shaking. Didn't even wake up one time :)

That all depends on whether or not, you regard earthquakes throughout all of human history, as "end-time" prophesies. Actually, the earth or world will never end but the real wording the Bible refers to is an end to an age. The earth will not "end" with earthquakes but with mankind ruining it with war, pollution, greed, etc, which will be the cause for the effect. Christ will have to return to stop us or we will totally annihilate ourselves and usher in a new age. In this new age of Christ's rule, a new Heaven and a new Earth will be created thus, ending the shifting of plate tectonics and any earthquakes.

I'll give you one word, and you'll find it's meaning is very...planetary in diameter.

"Wormwood"

Earthquakes are happening daily , literal quaking of the earth , and how about financial earthquakes around the world in the last year , its not over yet, some are symbolic quakes, but the big one is yet to come , sounds like a bit of concern on your part .Are you ready?
