Did Dodge Ram get the 2nd part of their name from the Greek God of War Aries?

I think that just because I guess in the 1980s they added that second part to their name and that is also when they came out with a car called Dodge Aries K Car. Is that true? Thanks a million.
The Ram is also the symbol of Aries.
