They were probably OK. It's best not to defrost the chicken in the microwave because it will leave areas that are still frozen and other areas will be nearly cooked (that's even on the defrost mode). What I do is take the chicken out of the freezer and leave it in the fridge for 12 - 24 hours to defrost.
Make sure it is cooked right through, it should be totally white with no pink/red bits or juices.

when i was younger i had food poisening bad, im scared ill get it again, i was just so ill :(

I cooked chicken last night, which i rarely do. but i was doing it as a session where i live because i live in supported housing. I made chicken nuggets, I got breadcrumbs, egg and flour and mixed them together then got the frozen chicken which was put on the defrost in the microwave setting. i then put the cut up chicken and dipped it into the bread crumbs, i did about 4 and ate 2. i had someone else who tried a bit and they said they were cooked. they were white inside and tasted normal and nice. im just worried i didnt cook them properly. can anyone tell me if i did anything wrong? i also washed my hands everytime i touched raw chicken. thanks.
