okay so there is a girl at my work who has been doing an internship . she is 21 and im 27. she is beautiful but very easy going/down to earth.
anyway, she has been around my office most days because there is another guy doing an internship with me.
yesterday was their last day, so a few days before i invited them out to lunch to celebrate. i said it would be extended lunch so we would 'shut up shop early'.
i directed the invitation at her, even though i invited all the other people (2 guys) in the room to come as well.
then in the morning yesterday i found out i had a meeting at that time. i found her and let her know. she had changed plans so she could leave early, but i said we could do something after work. she said okay and was really enthusiastic.
after work she was in my office talking to the other guy- they had waited for me to come and fill out the report. i knew she was going to the general staff drinks with her supervisor.
we all talked and laughed abit. no one mentioned going out or our lunch.
the guy asked me for my email address so he could add me on facebook. i wrote it for him but she didnt say anything about adding me and didnt ask me for my email address.
i said id get a beer, but then i thought maybe id see if she was interested and say i 'might' go home instead.
she didnt comment the first time, and then when i said i was going home she again didnt say 'oh but arent was doing something'. she didnt mention it.
she looked abit surprised/possibly disappointed.
we just shook hands with her and then they went back to the offices to photocopy some forms and i left.
if she was interested would she have mentioned going out?
