Did I raise this girl?

For the past 4 years, I have been a positive role model in Kelsey's life (she's 14). I met her back in 2004, when my Jenna (a friend of mine) ended up living with Trisha (Kelsey's mom). I would go over to visit Jenna and a lot of the time Kelsey would be acting out. Trisha said this was due to the fact she didnt have a father in her life. I felt bad for Kelsey, so I voulenteered my time. She would call me up almost everyday asking me to come over, I would come over almost everyday at 4:00pm and I would stay until she went to bed. Did I raise her and am I like a father to her?
I help her with her homework when she gets stuck

I take her to the park so she can go play, sometimes she asks me to push her on the swing

She invites me to most of her school functions and I have come to most of her school functions

She asks me to walk her to her friends places; I walk her to her friends places

Through Grades 5 to 7 I took her swimming most weekends and then out for dinner

She comes to me for advice and tells me pretty much everythign thats going on in her life
She introduced me to her first boyfriend and I told him to treat her right

She calls me "daddy"

I take her trick/treating every halloween as well as to the Santa Clause Parade
I help her with the grocery shopping

I traveled 700 km to come to her 11th birthday; when Trisha couldnt afford a party for her daughter, I payed for the party with my own money so Kelsey would have a nice birthday
When she had a nightmare I stayed up with her to calm her down

When she was afraid of a thunderstorm I stayed up with her until 6am

you became her unofficial afficial "Father", :"Daddy", you became the father she never knew. congratulations its a wonderful feeling. just because she is not bioloically yours doesnot mean she is not yours. Anyone can make a baby but it takes a special person to be a mother or father.
