Did my text message not get sent?

so i sent someone a text message, well three to be exact and i didn't get a reply. that was yesterday, i checked my outbox to be sure that they got sent but then i checked again today and i no longer see them in there.

has anyone else had this problem and could this mean my friend never recieved my messages?

delete all your messages in your in box and see if they come up?

you might have max messages
