Did Neanderthals and Homo Sapiens mix to create Caucasians?

No one really knows. There's some scientists who think that when humans moved to Europe (and neanderthals seemingly died out), they simply interbred. There's no more evidence for that, though, than the idea that Neanderthals simply died out.

Does anyone have any recent information???
