Did you have virginity as a criterion for your future spouse?

I married a virgin. He had been kissed and done other stuff, but I was his first. He waited for the right time, the person he was to marry. I wish I had done the same, but I made a lot of mistakes in high school. Good thing he is forgiving and understanding..

No, I wanted my future husband to be worldly and experienced. I did, however, want to get married as a virgin and have my wildly experienced husband teach me.

I am not married but why would virginity matters?... I mean people make mistakes and try things to get it out of their system, sometimes they are too young and unmature to even understand the concept of virignity or they even thought they found the one to later realized that they were wrong, It is not even their fault that the other people cheated or never married them. From my very personal point of view someone that is constantly and constantly thinking about "virginity" has issues because what it really matters is trust, friendship, loyalty love and chemistry regardless of the other person's past actions. Thinking about virginity as a requirement for marriage is childish and reflects insecurity.
