if he was going to have a reaction, he would likely have had one by now. we didn't always wait 3-4 days, because my son always loved the new foods and never had a problem. it's more for ease in discovering what bothers your baby, because if you do 3 different foods and there's a reaction, it's more difficult to figure out which food was the culprit. but like i said, there would be some sort of immediate reaction, and by now if he's not having any problems, i would suggest you're fine to try something else. but also understand that it can take as much as 10 tries of a food before baby will take it. it's important not to let him dictate what he eats (though it is important to listen to him when he tells you he's had enough. if he turns his head or spits the food out, he's likely had enough). but you have to make sure he's getting enough of everything he needs. also understand that he's had bm or formula for 6 months, and if it's formula, it tastes like shit, so these foods are all new to him, and there's new sensations to eating with a spoon, so have patience and take it slow! have fun and take lots of pics!
