diesel cars, Mini or VW Scirocco?

Ok I have to change my car to a diesel option due to the amount of miles I do and of course the fuel consumption as well. I have an option to change for Diesel Cooper or the VW Scirocco diesel, both are good on fuel and the same price newish! - any ideas which one and why?

thanks, not very good on cars....just know better on fuel.

The Scirocco looks much better, is a newer shape and I reckon could be more comfy than the Mini. If the Mini is a BMW sourced diesel engine then they are good, but VW are also famous for theirs. Both good cars, so best bet is to take each for a test drive and see which you prefer. Personally I'd go for the Scirocco as I'm not keen on the Mini as it's only girls or geeky blokes that seem to drive them. You don't have such a clicky following with the Scirocco, it's just a good car you can get on and drive.
