We heat with wood but are looking for a supplementary heater to help take the chill off or to keep the house from freezing when we are away. We have a 1.8KW system and the fridge would be the only thing running when we are away. Which is the overall better option for conserving both propane and electricity? Would the high efficiency heater draw too much electricity?
