Mix your fuels with a little more 100% octane to Gas/mix.
Just remember not to red line the throttle too long or you will seize
the engine.
It works great and lots of pep to an old bike. Be gentle with the old guy
He's 26 yrs. and counting.

would it damage anything in my 83 honda xr200 if i ran it with 100 octane racing fuel. Or would it give it any improvments.

I hear that aircraft fuel is bad for gasoline engines. Unless you have 13:1 compression ratio, it will not burn very well. It is sort of like diesel fuel, slow burning.

There is a misconception about high octane fuels. Octane rating is the in-ability to cause pinging in the engine. This is because the fuel is burning slower. Diesel would have a Octane rating well over 150 if it was rated that way - yet diesel fuel has a Centane rating, not Octane.

You probably will not damage the engine if you keep the RPM below about 4,000, however it might cause a problem with hot spots in the engine. Why run $6 fuel when you can use 89 octane for only $2.50?

Good Luck!
