Dirt bike or atv sport?

Im 17 years old and im 5'6 and about 180.I want to know if i should get a dirt bike or atv sport for trail riding and open country roads.Ive never really ridden before but one time i did with my step brother's atv and got it into 3rd gear so im a quick learner.So what would be better for me?And i want a brand new one so what brand and what bike or atv? Thank you so much

I would choose a quad

I would get an Atv because I like them I ride them and the good brands are Yamaha, Honda for sport bikes and you should get a 450 for your age since you haven't rode one before
