Last week's discovery of about 2,000 fetuses on the grounds of a Buddhist temple in Bangkok has ignited a debate over Thailand's abortion policies, the New York Times reports. The fetuses are believed to have been sent from illegal abortion clinics. Two undertakers and a woman who confessed to delivering fetuses have been arrested. After the discovery of the buried fetuses, police said raids uncovered 20 clinics that were performing illegal abortions. In the predominantly Buddhist country, abortion is only legal in cases of rape, incest or life endangerment...
