...be wrong? We have a GE dishwasher and this week it's quit washing the dishes. It has always sounded like it is running normally, but when the cycle is over the dishes aren't wet at all and detergent is baked onto the inside of the door (due to the heat cycle). I have run it a few times and opened it to find it does have water in the bottom. My husband is very handy and can fix most things, but he's not as familiar with dishwashers and doesn't know where to start. We really can't afford a new dishwasher right now, so we have to try and fix this ourselves! Any ideas what could be wrong and how to fix it?

magical water repelling dishes ??

lol, really, try the pump. i would find it, (most likely in the back near the bottom) take it out and take it to a local machine shop ot store that would handle stuff like that. they would know if its bad or how to fic it.

I'm going to say call a repair man....the problem is probably with sprayer (ie. it may be clogged, backed up, etc.)
Hope this helps
