disneyland or disneyworld?

I'm 16 and live in Australia and next year I am going to america for the first time. However, the decision is up to me whether my family goes to DisneyWorld in Florida or Disneyland In LA. I have no idea which one is better! Can anyone give any recommendations?

DisneyWorld in Florida for sure. You have 4 big parks there vs 2 parks in Disneyland. Best thing is go to their official websites and check it out, they have tons of information and even trip planners. Good luck and have fun.
