DivX Codec?

My videos from my camera automatically convert to Quick time . So when I pass to Movie Maker say error that I need to install DivX I already install , no .
I also try to un install Quick time don't let because their on a pack.
I want all view on Windows Media player , but no.

Just whant to change that videos to Windows Media Player.
In order to Pass to Windows Movie Maker.
Or Uninstall Quick time

What are you making your videos wqith? Some cameras use the *.mov extension which is opened by QuickTime, If so, windows media player won't open your movies unless you convert them to avi/mpeg. You might also just need some codec, if so, try the link below for a good codec pack. Be sure to uninstall all other codecs before installing this pack. Also you might try to play the files with Mplayer, which is a good rip off of unix.

Um, when you open windows movie maker. go to tools, options, and most of the way down, it says automatically download codecs, check that box. And then you should be able to import them into the movie maker. And if you right click on a movie and go to properties, on the top you can choose default program to open file type. click browse and choose Windows Media Player.
