Divx movies on Vista 64?

I have a lot of Divx movies on my computer running Vista 64 (what a waste of money). They used to play fine on Windows Media Center, now they won't play. I uninstalled the codec and reinstalled ffdshow. Now the sound plays but no video. Any ideas?
 
not an solution but a work around...download VLC media player...it plays anything form anywhere in basically any format. It's completely replaced media center for me.

edit : oh and it's free .... www.videolan.org
