My problem is that when I try to watch a movie online using DivX, the video shows up fine, but the audio won't work. Instead I get this message:
"this file contains a track in an unknown format. you may need to install a DirectShow decoder for this audio format in order to hear the sountrack of this file."
I've uninstalled and reinstalled DivX, downloaded and installed several audio codec packages, and searched all over the internet, but nothing seems to work. Can someone please help me out?
Lol yeah, i know, VLC player is great. Unfortunately, I'm streaming these movies through DivX and it keeps giving me that error message. So i've got crystal clear video with no audio.
Currently I don't think there's a best answer.
