Divx video problem. "File doesn't support seeking" help please?

When i try to play these .divx videos i have, it keeps saying "Seeking is not supported for this video: "This file does not support seeking. It may be corrupted"

I doubt it is corrupted, since it all began when i downloaded this divx update a while back. I can still play the video, just i have to watch if from beginning to end. Is there any way to fix this. I hate having to watch an hour long video without being able to skip to the parts i like to watch.

Gomplayer plays all file types including divx, .avi, .mov. etc
Just go to preferences -- Others -- All File Types All Codecs.

Right click on player for menu Control Panel (F7) . Click CP or hit F7. Now you can make nice pictures (screen captures) of the video you are watching
