I have a 65 D-100 that has a 318 A block in it that's a factory 4 bbl. Its a strong motor but there just isn't enough to satisfy me right now cruising around or playing with it on back roads(no im not destroying the truck). Im trying to do what I can on something of a budget but will a 5 sp out of a newer dodge truck bolt up to it or is there bell housing issues or anything that will prevent my idea of working?
Also any other helpful hints or facts about the motor will be very appreciated. My dad helps where he can but he is a Ford guy so this motor is a bit of a mystery to him, and Iv been alittle on the lacking side of finding much helpful stuff even on line.
