B/c I kinda disagree. My boyfriend jokingly tells me I'm ugly, but I know that he doesn't really think that I'm ugly. He tells me I'm beautiful everyday, and he really means it. Besides, he said he would never tell an ugly person that they're ugly. So I guess when he tells me I'm ugly it's just a sarcastic kind of Joke? But when he jokingly tells me I'm anorexic, there's truth in that joke b/c I am slim, but he knows I'm really not anorexic. So I guess I'm asking, how do you know when there's truth in a joke? And do you agree that not all jokes have truth in them at all?
