In the East, most casinos have pink $2.50 chips at the blackjack table. This is so the dealer can pay the 3:2 for a blackjack. However, I've never seen $2.50 chips in Las Vegas. Now many of the casinos in Nevada pay the measly 6:5, so the pink chip wouldn't be necessary. However even the tables that pay 3:2 will pay the $2.50 with 2 white chips and a half dollar.
