I have a guy friend that has a Shih-Tzu. He's a funny little dog! You shouldn't let your gender decide what kind of dog you get. Get whatever dog suits you and your lifestyle best.

Yes my boyfriend is the one who picked out our first Shih-tzu and we loved him so much that we got another one. The male Shih-tzu is my boyfriend's buddy and he follows him everywhere around the house and sleeps next to his pillow at night. The female Shih-tzu is my shadow and sleeps on my side of the bed at night.
