Do broths, alone, have any nutrition?

It's getting colder out and I want something warm and tasty, like soup...but really, I just want the broth.

Honestly, I eat Top Ramen more than real soup, and that's really the flavor that I'm craving (the chicken Top Ramen)...I just don't want the noodles. But I'm pregnant, and I want something that's a little more nutritious, but I want the same flavor.

Do the chicken broths that come in the cans or those fancy box cartons (i.e. Swanson, Wolfgang Puck) have any nutrition? Would they be as tasty? Any other suggestions for alternatives?

Make your own chicken broth. I've been craving this while pregnant and it's a really good way to get your 5 a day. It's easy, you literally throw chicken and veg and potatoes in a pan with water, chicken stock and stock cubes and cook until the potatoes are soft. You can freeze it and just microwave it when you want some. :)
