I've recently joined a church and as I went there for the first time; they told me to pray with them. I had to repeat what the pastor tells me to say word by word.
look, I don't believe or disbelieve in god; if you ask me a simple question of whether or not he exists; the most sincere answer I can give you is that I DON'T KNOW...I have no evidence that he exists and I don't have any evidence that he doesn't therefore I don't know.
from then on I started to pray a lot, I've stopped profanity as much as I could, I decided not to smoke, drink or gamble in the future. but will I still go to hell since that I'm not 100% certain of god's existence; if god really exists I'll definitely worship him and follow all his commands.
AND NO!!! I DON'T DOUBT GOD'S EXISTENCE!!!! I JUST HAVE NO CERTAINTY!!!!
