Do cruise ship crew also have ship ID cards they use as keys/purchases?

Yes, crew members also use the card system. They get an employee discount on purchases. All their photo ID's have a magnetic strip on the back.
 
I know that passengers use their ship ID for all ship purchases, sometimes as a key to their room and to get off and on the ship. Is the same true for crew? Do they have on ship accounts for use at the crew mess and bar? Or is their ship id only for id purposes only? Thanks.
 
In the past there is that but in the future there will be notihing

how many time i do not do what i want to do but do what i dont want to do
