Do environmentalists only know how to whine and complain?

Ok, we all know environmentalists want cleaner energy - that's why they are against any sort of CO2 emission. They want us to cut down on oil, coal, etc... usage and instead use cleaner energies.

Yet, when there are proposals of cleaner energy, such as Nuclear and wind, they still complain and complain. They complain that Nuclear energy - which is one of the cleanest energies possible may harm the environment via nuclear waste and the rare meltdown.

And, I just read an article about a proposed wind energy farm on lake Michigan, and there are environmentalists that claim that this will harm wildlife in lake Michigan.

So seriously, my question is, what is your solution to clean energy? If everything we do 'harms' the environment, then what is your perfect solution?

Maybe instead of complaining, come up with some actual solutions.

There are no perfect solutions, although one thing that would take us a long way is simply reducing our energy use. Also, taking government subsidies away from coal and oil and using them for renewable energy sources would help.

Nuclear energy is clean, but it is horribly inefficent and the wastes must be protected for up to 240,000 years. As to wind farms, I believe this is a good idea, and that if they are installed correctly they will not harm wildlife.
