do fish get thirsty and how do i know if it is drinking properly?

i give it fish food and there is clean water in the tank with purifiers but how do you know if the fish gets thirsty???
 
lol, i dont think fish get thirsty.. they do nothing but swish water in and out of there mouth all day, im sure they drink some of it.
 
Don't worry about having to hydrate your fish, just feed them sparingly and do weekly or sub-weekly water changes.

i dont think they get thristy , they cant really avoid getting water inside them. plus. theres osmosis
 
Is this a trick question? fishes are already in water and water gets in them. Thirst is something for land dwellers. Good question, never thought of that one before.
