do guys mean it when they tell a girl they will marry them in the future?

To start off I wanna say we had a thing for each other last year , we really good friends now but I still kind of like him. We talk every single night until the sub rises, and every night he says " I can't wait to marry you" . He jokes around allot but i noticed he started saying "we" more often. Idk what yo think. He talks to me about other girls and asks for advice but 5 mins later when we talk about our future he inludes me in it . He says stuff like, "u gonna stay home with the kids . . By the way I want 3 kids, u good with that?' I usually laugh and he tells me he is serious. I mean, do guys do that? I thought only girls did the whole planning out their fairytale ending part. This is very confusing to me. He talks about other girls with me and says how hot they are. Then he tells me I'm his future wife he can't wait to prove me wrong and marry me. So... Do guys mean it when they say that? Or is it a trick to get "some. I know I have typos, sorry my HTC touch screen sucks.
