Do i have a hernia or some other type of injury?

I recently started a job that includes some heavy lifting every now and then, nothing too major. The past two days ive noticed an unpleasant odor that seemed to be coming from my chest or abdomen somewhere, i couldn't figure out what it was. Then i noticed my belly button looked wet, and i touched it and noticed it looked like there was some blood on my fingers. It was definitely the source of the smell. So what is it, will it heal and go away? I'm completely clueless here.
