Do I have a virus? Crazy internet explorer windows popping up everywhere!!!?

Okay well about 5 minutes ago I was on imdb.com looking at photos and I tried to close the window, then it popped up again, then another one the same, and another, and another... Until I had about 100 internet explorer windows (and counting!). After trying CTRL+ALT+DELETE and failing, I pressed the power button and restarted my computer. After that I was able to go into Task Manager and get rid of all the windows.

Do you think that this could be caused by a virus or spyware? I use McAfee antivirus which updates itself daily and scans daily. It also has a firewall. I'm currently running a scan, nothing's come up yet...

I also have Spybot and Malwarebytes, which I don't think do any ongoing protection, but I'll run them through once McAfee is finished.

Any other recommendations? Should I be worried?!

I think there is a spyware or virus on your system, scan you system for viruses and spywares.
