games that come after? I was thinking about buying Mahou Tsukai no Yoru, both to just play and to practice my Japanese with (because apparently your reading comprehension goes up 20 levels if you finish a raw game), and was wondering how connected the games in the Nasuverse are to each other? I've never played Fate/Stay night or Tsukihime (sad, I know).
Is the level of connection similar to how Higurashi and Umineko are connected, where there are connections but you don't have to read the previous game in order to make sense of just the one game, or do I have to play the games that came out before it in order to make any sense whatsoever?
Please no spoilers, I don't want to know HOW the games are connected, just if I have to read the games that came before in order to make any sense of it.
