I've never owned one before, but am thinking of purchasing one. Is there any extra money involved (monthly fee or otherwise) other than just buying the unit itself? How does this work?
Main reason I asked -- Consumer Reports mentions something about advertisments in a Garmin unit "unless you pay the monthly fee". Weird, huh?
