Do I need more than 1 GB of ram to run ADOBE CS4 MASTER COLLECTION?

I just want to know that if I have adobe cs4 master collection and only 1 gb of ram, if i'd were to open one application say "photoshop" which only requires 1 gb of ram recommended, will a still get lag when running the program?
 
If you are running Windows Vista, then it is HIGHLY recommended that you install more RAM, since that is the bare minimum for Vista, and it will lag for sure. If you are running XP, then you should still install more, it will make a dramatic difference in performance.
