Do I return both MOT certificates to the Insurance company?

I have recently had my car written off and need to return my documents. I have a current MOT cert. so for the purposes of this claim all is fine. But there is a 1 month gap between this MOT cert. and the previous cert. Do I return both to the Insurance company (as per their request) or just the current one? Will it affect this claim?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated..
