I'm looking to buy this as a new car and since I'm now a student in connecticut for the next few years I would like a car that's better in the snow than my 12 year old sporty acura that I've been hauling around. However, I was told to check out what the rollover rate was for this car. Does anyone know?

Any vehicle can roll when driven stupidly. If you are a responsible driver, you would really benefit from having 4wd over your FWD acura.
The rollover rate should be pretty low, as the Kia doesn't sit as high as some larger trucks, or Jeeps. The lower the vehicle, the less chance it has of rolling over or tipping. Plus, they're cheap to maintain, and not bad looking either.

I don't know about the roll over factor, but my sister got hit by a deer in her Sportage and it sent here into a spin! She wound up facing traffic! Sounds funny now, but not so funny then.

No lie, she immediatly turned it in for a Ford Escape!
