I met a guy online two years ago, and after talking for a while, he asked me for my email address, and then we started chatting. We got even closer after some time. He was my best friend, and I told him just about everything.
Last month, I went back for a holiday, and I started texting him. One day, I got upset and tried to break up with him. He begged me to forgive him (although he really hadn't done anything wrong) even asking my sister to try and talk to me, and finally I gave in.
He said that he loved me, and he wanted us to be together, even though that wouldn't really be possible for the next three years, at least, since we both have to finish school and I won't be able to visit him (my parents won't let me go out with guys).
I love him very much. I mean, he's the nicest guy I know, although he can be very aloof sometimes. And he never ever fights with me even if I'm being particularly bitchy.
He is my very first love (and I'm sixteen!) and I'm super excited about it, but I'm his third girlfriend (and that makes me jealous at times, because he's done things I haven't, like kiss someone else, although we're both still virgins xD), and whenever I think about how far apart we are (it's a distance of nearly 7000 miles), and how we won't be able to meet, I just wonder if this whole thing will die out after some time? I can't bear the thought of losing him, and every day he tells me he'd never leave me no matter what.
Another thing also bothers me; how we're both of different races, and I just wonder if that would affect things. He does say that it doesn't matter, but I think other people would matter, like his family, friends, etc.
He said that we could both go to a different country and live together, but I wonder if that would be a good idea, because he's grown up there, and I don't want to tear him away from his family.
Will this work out? Despite the distance and our differences?
