Do PC game torrents have system requirements like the actual CD?

I bought a PC game, downloaded it, too much lag. I checked the system requirements and I didn't have some of the stuff that was needed. So do PC game torrents have the system requirements that are needed?
I didn't have enough RAM and no DirectX 9.0
 
It doesn't matter whether you buy a game off the shelf, or download a torrent; your computer still needs the hardware to run it. I'd recommend getting Direct X and getting some more RAM. If you're still having trouble, you might need to update your graphics card.

The requirements are hardware. They are in your computer. A torrent is just an illegal copy of the game. They will have the same hardware requirements. If you do not have enough RAM, you will not be able to play either.

Note: If you don't even have DirectX 9.0c, I suggest downloading it. It is essential for all PC games within the last few years. If you don't even support DirectX 9.0, well... you might want to get a new computer, regardless of whether or not you will do gaming.
