Do pie warmers cook pies?

I am holding a birthday party at a venue that has a pie warmer and I was just wondering how they work, whether they cook the pie from thawed or they only keep the warm or if I can pre cook the pies then the pie warmer will reheat? Sorry it must sound like a silly question but I have never used one.

Your Birthday Party Venue is providing a Pie Warmer to accommodate your already cooked pie.............but please remember to set it at it's lowest setting so your pie doesn't get soggy all the way through, especially your crust on top. Forget the lid too, it will create steam even at it's lowest setting and that will definitely ruin your Pie. A pie warmer just keeps food warm for serving it will not cook the pie from thawed.

Many food warmers will only heat up to 85 ºC Max. Temp.
