Do the Blue Jays (or Rays) wash their Astroturf to sanitize all the spit?

I've seen the Blue Jays "vacuum" after the game, but do they ever do a thorough cleaning?

They do at least as much as blue jays and astronauts sanitize all their spit in their nests and space capsules.
