my family is so unhealthy. All they care about is budgeting. They go for the cheaper food (which are so not healthy) They don't know the consequences of these unhealthy food & the benefits of healthy foods. My mum always cook us unhealthy food. She gives us one full plate of rice with some deep fried crap. Buy us cookies, chocolate milk and chocolates for school. Always put butter on our sandwiches.I really want to eat healthy food but taste yummy at the same time. Like, instead of white bread why can't just buy whole grain? Instead of having bacons, white bread & eggs for breakfast y can't she just buy us weetbix or whole grain cereal? cook fries in the oven instead of putting 1 litre of oil in the fry pan.
I eat fruit instead of chocolate, drink water instead of juice or soda (since juice is just as bad as soda apparently).
Anyways.. i try and be healthy but doesn't seem to work since I have an unhealthy family :( I work out after I eat because I'm worry about the calories i'd put in even though I probably wouldn't be able to burn all that calories. I'm 17 in 3 months. I can't wait til I'm 18 so i could eat healthy food without my mum forcing me to eat this and eat that or without her having a go at me when I eat a lil bit of her fatty food. Sorry guys,I'm just annoyed. My dad thinks i'm obsessed? I just want to be healthy. We neva eat salad for lunch.

nothing wrong with it
they'll be jealous in 5yrs when you're fit healthy and slim, and they will be obese.

my family isn't exactly healthy, but if 1 was unhealthy and 10 was healthy, we'd probably be 6.5-7.5
but my brother...
all he eats is bread fish and junk food, and he has like 2L of diet soda EVERY DAY

i have a fairly healthy lifestyle

It sounds like your family is totally disinterested in healthy food and junk food seems to be part of their culture.

As soon as you are financially capable perhaps you should move out as that situation at home is unlikely to change. Unfortunately problem parents are probably equally common as problem kids.
