Do Volkswagen gti mk5's come in automatic transmission?

I want to buy a volkswagen gti mk5 but i don't want a manual transmission. Do they make gti mk5's with automatic transmissions?

I have always found VW automatic transmissions somewhat sucky. They were automatic stick shift, where you stuck it in a gear and applied the accelerator then to shift, you let go of the gas pedal and shift to the next gear and accelerate. That is in the older air cooled editions.

yeah they do but learn to drive a stick. its so worth it, cheaper on gas and way more fun
