...the Titles of The Trinity? In my opinion, yes, we do.
When any man of the cloth invokes the titles in baptism for the remission of sins, he strips away The Name (No other Name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved) the Blood ("Unto Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood") and the Pre-eminence ("No man cometh unto The Father but by me") of Jesus, vitually UNDOING the crucifixion which leaves the subject dead in his sins. How can we claim the blood of The Lamb while denying His Name?
What do you think?
"What man can deny water that these should not be baptised who have recieved The Holy Ghost as well as we?"
"And now, why tarriest thou? Arise! be baptised and wash away thy sins calling on The Name of The Lord"
In baptism, we apply the blood of The Lamb, Jesus which cleanses away our sins.
We are baptised into the body of Jesus, which is the church.
We are buried with Jesus.
We are identified with Jesus.
Where do you see The Trinity in any of that?
