No, all of the other predictions have not been true. There is no real truth to back up the predictions.

it is very possible but not likely, if you found a chart of meteors that are likely to hit the earth, there are some pretty big meteors and if one the size of rhode island came along, we would be skrewd. although this could happen any time, could be in 2012, could be in a few months! have a nice day =)
 
No. There aren't even any Mayan prophecies about this. The precolumbian Mayans just said the equivalent of our 2012 would be the end of an era. This has nothing to do with the end of the world. It's just a method of dividing time into epochs, just like dividing time into days, years, centuries, etc.

No one knows the time or hour, Matthew 24 says that this generation shall not pass until ALL thes things COME to Pass. The last time man's life or leanth thereof was 3 score and 10 years.That's 70 years
