Do you believe in fate or premonitions?

I have read many questions on here about believing in fate, and I wanted to ask you myself. Do you believe in fate? Recently I had a dream about this person I hadn't seen in 3+ years. I was wondering how they were and then randomly I saw them. This has happened a few times. Was it a coincidence? And in general do you think that fate is real?
 
Just about anything is possible. I, personally, do not believe that fate is real.
But I do believe that we are all connected in some way.

There is an episode of the show called "through the wormhole" where they are talking about this random number generator.
They placed a few of these generators in a few different countries.

And well, when 9/11 happened, the random number generator has this graph connected to it and it draws lines.
During the time of 9/11, the line it draws shot way up. And went down as things got settled down...

So, I believe we're all connected in someway kind of like how certain animals are. Either that be via a telephone, or be emotional.
