What about the Bible Code? Nostradamus? The Aztecs? Greek Oracles? That weird guy down the block who says the Illuminati are after us?

Yes I believe we are in for a wild ride on 12-21-2012. Comets? Asteroids? Global Warming? Change in magnetic fields? Volcanoes? It could be anything.

I believe in the bible code mostly, because that is what I believe in and have come to live by. However I also believe that all of them mean the same thing in some sense. It's funny how religion works that way. Such as Buddhism for example. In the bible, God said to NOT go into Asia and work with them. What's interesting is that about that exact time...Buddah was doing his thing in Asia. So whether you believe in Buddhism or Christianity, there's something interesting there. There are prophesies that have taken place in Christian stories, but have MANY similarities to other religious believes and stories as well. For example, Jesus was predicted long before his time on earth (Whether you believe he was the Messiah, God himself or son of god, there is record for his existence. He WAS real...the only question is whether or not you believe him to be...well..the Messiah). Anyways, all the way over here in Native American cultures, there was a man who had a vision of a guy who he described to be not native american, not exactly black skin, not exactly white skin. The man was hanging on a tree with his arms stuck to two branches and his feet bound on the trunk. Could this be Jesus? Perhaps. But it's offly similar.

ANYWAYS! My point is, there is something that is very interesting about 2012. Because for THOUSANDS OF YEARS religions have made very very similar prophecies which have come true(the only difference is is how we view the events and prophecies). If you really study these things, it's interesting to see the different ideas and put similarities together between different beliefs. When doing so, you have to remember that these ideas are very very old. So the description of the events may be very weird because people have no idea what things like cars and tvs are. We live in this completely different world then Nostradamus or any biblical characters did.

If you want my personal opinion on it...I'm actually very excited for 2012. And I hope it's going to be what I think it is. I do not think my answer is right...because ever prophesy that was predicted ended up being different then what people assumed from it. But I believe that on 2012, God is going to throw his hands up and basically say "I gave you laws to follow, I told you to behave and I've been completely shunned.". If you read through the bible, you'll find that God is not this perfect "Omgosh I love everyone" type deal. If people misbehave, he punishes. For example...the flood with Noah. I think that this is what it's going to be. God is going to do what he said he would and come down to make things....believe it or not...hell. This is what is called "Tribulation" and will more then likely last about 3-7 years. But it isn't the end of the world. At some point, it's believed that Jesus will come back and basically save us again..the way he was believed to have saved us the last time. The world will become this paradise I guess you could say and we basically go back into "the garden of Eden" per say. Here we don't have to work for our needs such as food and water, everything will be provided for us. There is no pain and suffering, and no death. It's what we could call Heaven on earth.
So that's why I'm excited for it. Because I believe the bible story. And I believe I have the protection of god through tribulation. (And quite frankly, I believe the world deserves to go to hell since we've pretty much destroyed it). And then in the end it would be heaven.

I'm not saying I'm right. And I'm not saying anyone else is wrong. I'm also not pointing fingers at atheist or anyone else who believes differently. That's just my take on it. And 2012 may be nothing...but who knows.
